The Wizards follows Amado and Sam, a Brown and Black genderqueer couple that move back to Amado’s hometown of Chicago after surviving a hate crime in New York the day after the 2016 presidential election. Cook County Jail’s ‘Tails of Redemption’ program is doing their part to help pups get adopted by pairing the with prison inmates without a murder or rape charge.
